Your new Mitsubishi is protected by several warranties that give you comprehensive protection. In the very unlikely event of any defect with the labor or materials used in your vehicle, the situation will be rectified by any Mitsubishi dealer in the US. New Vehicle Limited Warranty

This warranty covers all your vehicle’s systems and components except those covered by the other warranties. It applies for the first five years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. Some components protected by this warranty have different term durations, as we’ll see below.

All Mitsubishi warranty repairs are performed at no charge for material or labor. Certain types of damage are not covered by warranty, like accidental damage, damage due to lack of maintenance, or damage caused by the use of unauthorized replacement parts. These situations are explained in your warranty booklet.

Battery Coverage

Your original battery is covered against any defect for three years. If the battery is replaced within the first two years, the replacement battery and labor are provided at no charge. If the battery fails in the third year, you pay 50% of the cost of the new battery, but 100% of the labor is at no charge.

Entertainment Systems Coverage

Your DVD player, sound system, speakers, CD player, and all other entertainment systems are protected for three years or 36,000 miles.

AC Refrigerant Charge Coverage

Any AC refrigerant recharge required is free for the first year or 12,000 miles. After this period, the refrigerant will be recharged at no cost if performed as part of an AC warranty repair.

Adjustment Coverage

Adjustments are minor repairs that don’t require replacement parts. Any adjustments are performed at no charge during the first year or 12,000 miles.

Powertrain Limited Warranty

This warranty covers your engine, transmission, transaxle, drive shafts, and propeller shafts and all their components. It applies for ten years or 100,000 miles. Unlike the other warranties, if you sell your Mitsubishi, the powertrain systems are covered for the remainder of the New Car Limited Warranty period only.

Anti-Corrosion Perforation Warranty

Your Mitsubishi is protected against corrosion and perforation, which is corrosion that forms a hole through metal from one side to the other for seven years or 100,000 miles.
